Straighterline is an awesome way to obtain college credits for courses. I felt I had enough Algebra experience, and considered taking the CLEP exam. The inconvenience of going to a college about 45 minutes away, finding a babysitter, and coordinating it with time off from work, led me to search for other alternatives to get it done quickly. I found Straighterline online and called Fort Hays University to see if you were for real, and they confirmed you were. So, I signed up! I took the first exam without reviewing and didn't fare as well as I had hoped. I then reviewed my Algebra books and your 'Lesson Presentations' and completed the course in 9 days! I understand this may not be what all can do, but with my previous knowledge and a little brushing up I was able to achieve my goal with a 415 out of 500 point total! I will warn others, though that you have to be on top of the subjects. The $99/mo. cost makes this very economical. And all from the convenience of my own home!

I just finished my CLEP exam in Microeconomics and honestly my passing grade can be directly attributed to the Straighterline Macroeconomics coursework. So, as an added benefit to the tremendous value of the courses I took, I passed another requirement. Economically speaking you just added yet another benefit to the Straighterline curriculum and totally increased my efficiency!
