StraighterLine chooses eduFire for Online Psychology Tutoring Students in new online Intro to Psychology course first to benefit

Baltimore, MD – StraighterLine (www.straighterline.com) announced today that students enrolled in their online Introduction to Psychology course will have access to the tutoring component of their course through eduFire’s community of experts.  All of StraighterLine’s 23 college courses come with tutoring access as part of the program; students enrolled in other courses have access to tutoring through SMARTHINKING.

The new partnership comes as StraighterLine continues to expand their course offerings. Introduction to Psychology is one of 8 new courses reviewed and recommended for credit by ACE, with more under development.

StraighterLine provides live tutoring access for all courses such that students receive academic support that is the same or better than what might be received in a traditional periodic office-hour format. In the case of their new college Psychology course online, this allows more students to leave the large impersonal lecture halls of the traditional Intro to Psych 101 course. material.  All tutors provided by eduFire have advanced degrees in Psychology.
