Introductory Algebra guides the student through topics that teach the basics of algebra. Using real-life scenarios, the course puts difficult concepts into understandable terms. After an introductory algebra review, lessons focus on the basic functions of algebra and include math vocabulary and notation, operations with numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, and quadratic equations. Students also learn to read and interpret graphs.

Excellent course. Just read the assigned reading (while doing the work given in the assigned reading). Next, go over the multimedia slide "lessons" and practice. Then do the graded quizzes. Couldn't be easier!

Generally good course overall. Some of the lessons bounced around the order of the book, which seemed unnecessary and confusing. The course lessons were helpful; but did not go into as much depth as the text. It would have been nice to see explanations via the lesson of the content that was more difficult.

I wish they would have made it clear that the book is the main source of the information. I did three sections just using the videos. Some of the stats on the test did not match what was in the book. Overall the class was just reading the text book and taking tests.
