University Of Bridgeport
University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic (UBSC) program1 prepares students to become primary health care providers who are able to diagnose and care for the human body in an evidence-based manner. The program is a 4-year, full-time, on-campus program. Students can enter UBSC in the Spring (January) or the Fall (August). UBSC’s semester-based curriculum is composed of the basic and clinical sciences, as well as clinical services (clinical internship).

UBSC is the first university-based program and provides students with access to state-of-the-art resources, small class sizes, and an ideal location in the metro New York area. Students have access to unmatched clinical opportunities, which give them experience treating a diverse patient population. University of Bridgeport’s on-campus clinic sees over 30,000 patients each year, and students can also complete externships at the VA Hospitals, Stony Brook Medical Center, and a number of community health clinics and private practices. The on-campus UB Clinics allow chiropractic students the opportunity to work with Division II athletes. This provides UBSC’s students with direct hands-on experiences working with athletes to further enhance their clinical skills.
In order to be eligible for the DC program, you must have a bachelor's degree (or 90 credits) earned, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Students must also have a minimum of 24 credits completed (with a C or above) in the physical or life sciences. At least half of these science courses must include a lab component.
