Mercy in Action College of Midwifery
Mercy In Action College of Midwifery is a comprehensive MEAC accredited program for aspiring Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs). This training qualifies the graduate to sit for the North American Registry of Midwives national board exam to become a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). In addition, the graduate will be prepared for service domestically or internationally as a Skilled Birth Attendant, duly educated and credentialed in the USA, able to conduct normal deliveries in homes or birth centers, and provide for all aspects of maternity care, including the timely provision of emergency maternity care and disaster relief to a child-bearing population should it become necessary.
Our mission is to train competent, compassionate midwives of excellence who can serve women, infants, and families anywhere in the world. We desire to train culturally aware, globally minded midwives who can practice evidence-based midwifery according to the Midwives Model of Care™.
